Professional matchmaker

Hi. I’m Trenia Norford

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been in love with love. From my first college internship with talk shows to my career as a professional matchmaker, helping people find their own way to happiness has always been my passion. You can find out more about me in a recent article on DatingAdvice.com

In 2009, I married my best friend of ten years, Brad–the only man who ever got me to move to a new city for him (you can read more about our story here). We moved to the Windy City in 2010, and two years later I founded Connectricity as a way to do professionally what I’d already been doing for years for friends as an aficionado: helping truly amazing people find one another. If you’re serious about finding love, then I’m serious about finding someone who’s perfect for you.

I believe everyone has a spark–that special something that makes them not only different from everyone else, but infinitely valuable to other people who need exactly that kind of spark in their lives.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, I began my career in publishing in 1996, serving as a production manager with magazines like Fortune and Women’s Wear Daily. Later, I moved into marketing and sales and came up through the ranks of the banking industry, becoming a marketing manager and vice president with Chase in Columbus, Ohio.
